information regarding the 5th Annual Imagine A Day Golf Outing August 10, 2013
The Imagine A Day Foundation was created in memory of Courtney Bella. Courtney was tragically killed in an automobile accident by an intoxicated driver in April, 2008. A few weeks before her death, Courtney wrote a poem entitled “Imagine A Day.” Her words are inspiring, poignant and timeless. At only age 10, Courtney was very gifted with a natural talent for creative and performing arts. Everything she did, she did with passion and zest. However, her true talents were highlighted when seen in her abilities as a writer, musician, artist and dancer.
To honor Courtney’s memory, The Imagine A Day Foundation serves as an endowment for creative and performing arts in the OconomowocAreaSchool District. All funds donated to Imagine A Day will be used to sponsor creative and performing arts events, programs and workshops for students in Oconomowoc.
Our mission is to cultivate other children’s interests in creative and performing arts as well as inspire them to always strive to achieve their goals. Additionally, monies will be set aside so that a college scholarship can be awarded to a graduating senior of Oconomowoc High School, beginning with Courtney’s graduating class (Class of 2016).
Imagine A Day is established as a non-profit corporation under the IRS 501(c)(3) Status.
